“Women get two births: - Blessed or cursed?”

We almost all think and feel that women are more weak physically as well as mentally, emotional and sensitive in nature as compared to men. Whether we all want to admit or not, it is what we all feel in respect to our thinking or mentality. I also agree that women are emotional and sensitive when it comes to her relations and her loved ones. This is not at all anything bad according to my senses. It only shows that women are more caring, loving and understanding in nature as compared to men. It is her love and affection that makes her emotional & sensitive in case of her relations is concerned. But I totally disagree to accept that women are weaker in nature as compared to men. I feel women are stronger than men. The sacrifices woman can do in life, a man will not. Woman is a symbol of love, luck, care, happiness, affection, sacrifice, understanding, prosperity, togetherness, support etc. Women are full of understandings and do sacrifice a lot in life for her relations and for love than men. Who can never try to even attempt such things in life. A man can never be fully satisfied with his relations and life but women usually do always. She gets two births in a single life. First birth at a place where GOD has decided her to live with her blood relations and second birth at a place where she or her parents decided to marry her with all new relations of life and mold herself according to their preferences.

Firstly she learns all the cultures, customs, behaviors, favorites, traditions etc residing with her blood relations, sometime serve and sacrifice herself & ambitions for the family and relations associated with her without even letting them realize her sacrifices. After the first when she took second birth at her husband’s place, where she will be residing for her whole life have to repeat all again. Now this is the time when she has to start her life once again and has to sacrifice & understand everyone there at new place and mold herself accordingly. Also we as a parents always suggest & advice our daughters to adjust & understand to her full capacity at her new home. We all console her at the time of her leaving our house by advising her that, “daughter! Our house is not belongs to her ever in life, the real actual home of her is her husband’s house, where you will be residing forever, mark these words and never involve us in her family matters now on, please try to forget us.” In respect to that she never asks or complains about the same. She happily accepts the reality and ready for adjustments as well. Same happens at the time of her entering into husband’s house. When she again told by them to do all necessary adjustments and understandings here because she is new in the house & has to do adjustments with the family. The family will do a little adjustment possible but most of them should be from her side. Then again she happily accepts all and tries to mold herself. So it is not weakens show. Only those can do it, who are mentally strong enough and women do it everytime. So, how can we say that women are weaker than men.

We all should understand that women have very narrow world which starts from family and ends at family. This is the reason they are more emotional and sensitive than men. This is also one of the reasons that we all have misapprehension of believing women weak as compared to men. If anyone asks me of women then I will say, hats off to women from bottom of my heart and I sincerely mean it. We all should understand and respect her for all sacrifices, love and affection. We all must open our mind and eyes for not think and admire women as sex item only. Wake up! Wake up! Whenever I saw, came to know and heard some violence against women whether physically or mentally has happens, it scares and hurts me a lot. I start thanking GOD that it’s not my sister or daughter or relative. But, we should realize that she must be someone’s sister, daughter or relative. The lines which come in my mind is of Pahli Patshahi Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s wording on women misfortune are: -

"एह ती मार पई कुर्लाने

तें की दर्द न आया"

In the end, I request you all to please respect women. Stop this violence. Be gentle and nice to her. She is a living inspiration to all.
